Download Audi/VW Jack Pad Installation Safety first : As always, when performing any work on your vehicle it is important that you make safety your main concern. If using a jack, properly support the vehicle with jack stands on each side. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. If the installation of this product seems overwhelming, please contact a qualified installer in your area. The jack pads are installed into the four 1¼” holes on the underside of the vehicle. (See pictures, MKIV Jetta and B5 A4 shown) B5 A4 MKIV Jetta Install the jack pads by inserting the hard plastic piece into the rubber boot, then using a jack, push the pad into the body of the vehicle. The rubber boot should be tight against the body. Using a small amount of lubricant on the rubber boot will make the installation easier.
